This business began as an idea in early 1989. I had always enjoyed salvage yards and swap meets, and I had built several antique cars for myself and others. With encouragement from a friend who owned a late model salvage yard, I bought my first car in June, 1989. I began with several makes of GM cars but mostly Buick and Olds. Within a couple of years we decided that we would specialize only in Buick.
The first year I sold parts only part time but in June, 1990 I left my job and began parting cars full time.
In 1993 I asked my wife, Sue, to come to work with me. She quickly learned terms and what questions to ask customers. She has brought a lot to our business in terms of organization and efficiency, as well as a friendly voice on the phone.
It continues to be our goal to find good Buick parts cars at a reasonable price so that we can pass good prices on to our customers. Because of where we are located, we find cars with little or no rust and mostly good chrome and stainless.
It is also our goal to treat our customers the way we like to be treated, promptly and fairly.
Our current stock (Buick only) is about 350 cars from 1941-1979. Our inventory is constantly changing with new stock coming in most weeks, and of course parts are going out daily.
If it were possible we would have a catalog or parts list, but our inventory changes much too quickly. We invite you to call, fax or email us with your list of needs. Often we can get back to you in an hour or two.
We will strive to give you good honest descriptions of parts and prompt shipment when you order. We look forward to doing business with you, and we thank you for your interest.
